A bedraggled man, collecting bottles and cans.  A weary new mother, collecting herself.  They have more in common than meets the eye.

This is a comedy about assumptions, unexpected community and the kindness of strangers, featuring exactly the sort of riffraff you'd expect to find along the Galloping Goose Trail.

Pregnancy/new parenthood is necessarily undertaken in public, where even the most private person can expect tons of attention, usually in the form of people "should"ing all over her. My first crack at playwriting, I somehow wrote this in my own postpartum haze.  I think I figured, "heck I just made a human, how hard can writing a play be?" Turns out they're both a lot of work...but at least I could write my play in private and share it on my own terms.
